TrackShot Terms of Service

1. Who you are contracting with

TrackShot is a screen-recording application for macOS developed and sold by Roomanos Lab Teknoloji Limited Şirketi("Roomanos", "we"), a company registered in Türkiye. TrackShot is a Roomanos product sold directly from roomanos.com. It is not distributed through the Mac App Store.

These Terms of Service (the "Agreement") govern your licence to use TrackShot. By downloading, installing or using TrackShot you accept this Agreement. If you do not accept it, do not install or use the software.

2. Definitions

• Software — the TrackShot application for macOS, including updates we make available to you under this Agreement.
• Licence — the right to use the Software granted in section 3.
• Licence key — the credential issued after purchase that activates the Software.
• Output — the video, image and audio files you produce with the Software.
• Paddle — Paddle.com Market Ltd. and its affiliates, acting as Merchant of Record and authorised reseller for all TrackShot orders.

3. Licence grant

Subject to payment and to this Agreement, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, worldwide licence to install and use the Software for personal or business purposes.

• One licence may be used on up to 2 Macs that you own or control.
• The licence is perpetual for the version you purchased: it does not expire, and the build you hold keeps working after the update period in section 6 ends.
• The licence is issued to you. It is not a sale of the Software itself; ownership stays with Roomanos (see section 9).

4. What you may not do

• Resell, rent, lease, sublicense, publish or otherwise distribute the Software or your licence key.
• Share your licence key publicly, or use it on more Macs than section 3 allows.
• Reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the Software, except to the extent that applicable law expressly permits it despite this restriction.
• Circumvent, disable or tamper with the trial period, licence activation or any other technical protection.
• Remove or alter any copyright, trade mark or ownership notice.

5. Free trial

TrackShot can be downloaded and used free for 14 days. During the trial, recording, editing and preview are fully available.

• Exporting requires a licence at any point, including during the trial.
• Once the 14 days have passed, recording also requires a licence.
• The trial is provided as-is and may be changed or withdrawn for future downloads. That does not affect a licence you have already purchased.

6. Price, payment and Merchant of Record

TrackShot is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. The list price is USD 49.00; a launch price of USD 39.00 applies while it is displayed on the product page. There is no recurring charge and nothing renews automatically.

Paddle.com acts as the Merchant of Record and authorised reseller for all TrackShot orders. Paddle handles checkout, payment processing, tax calculation and collection, and invoicing on behalf of Roomanos, and is the entity that appears on your card statement and receipt. Paddle's own terms and privacy notice apply to the checkout itself. Your licence to use the Software is granted by Roomanos under this Agreement.

Delivery. TrackShot is a digital download. Your licence key is sent by email to the address you use at checkout, right after Paddle confirms the payment; the application itself is downloaded from the TrackShot product page. Nothing is shipped physically. If the licence email does not arrive, check your spam folder and then contact us at [email protected] — we will re-send it.

System requirements. TrackShot requires a Mac running macOS 14 (Sonoma) or later. Apple silicon and Intel Macs are both supported. The free trial in section 5 exists so you can confirm the Software runs on your Mac before paying.

The purchase includes 1 year of updates from the date of purchase. Every update released in that year is included at no extra cost. After that year your licence does not expire and your installed version keeps working, but continuing to receive newer releases is not part of the one-time price.

7. Support

Support is provided by email at [email protected]. We aim to answer licence, activation and refund questions promptly. Support is offered in English and Turkish.

8. Licence activation and network use

TrackShot records, edits and exports entirely on your Mac. Your recordings and projects are not uploaded to us or to anyone else, and the Software contains no analytics or usage tracking.

The only network request the Software makes is licence activation and validation. That request transmits your licence key, the activation reference issued for that Mac, and a non-identifying device label derived from a hashed hardware identifier (not your Mac's name), so that the 2-Mac limit in section 3 can be applied and so you can deactivate a specific Mac later. See the TrackShot Privacy Policy for exactly what is sent, what is kept and for how long.

9. Ownership

The Software, its source code, design and all related intellectual property remain the property of Roomanos. This Agreement grants a licence to use, not any transfer of ownership.

10. Your recordings and your responsibility

You own your Output. We claim no rights in the videos, images or audio you create with TrackShot, and we never receive them.

You are solely responsible for what you record and for complying with the law where you are — including obtaining any consent required before recording other people, their voices, their screens, confidential information or copyrighted material.

11. Disclaimer of warranties

The Software is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Software will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that it will be compatible with every macOS version, hardware configuration or third-party application.

Nothing in this section limits any warranty or statutory right that cannot be excluded under the law applicable to you as a consumer.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Software or this Agreement is limited to the amount you actually paid for your licence. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for lost data, lost recordings, lost profits or lost business opportunities.

Keep your own backups of any recording that matters. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

13. Refunds

Refunds are governed by the TrackShot Refund Policy, which forms part of this Agreement. In short: a 14-day money-back window from the date of purchase, requested by email to [email protected].

14. Termination

This Agreement ends automatically if you materially breach it — for example by redistributing the Software or sharing your licence key publicly. On termination you must stop using the Software and remove it from your devices. Sections 9 to 12 survive termination.

You may end this Agreement at any time by uninstalling the Software. Ending it does not by itself create a right to a refund outside the Refund Policy.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update this Agreement for future purchases and future versions of the Software. The version published on this page at the time of your purchase governs that purchase. Material changes are reflected in the "last updated" date above.

16. Governing law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, and the courts and enforcement offices of İstanbul (Anadolu) have jurisdiction. This does not deprive you of the protection of any mandatory consumer law of your country of residence.
